Time with Nature – Joyful

Just spent the last few days in the mountains ( Coonoor, Nilgiris ) After the city,Image a break to the mountains is always so refreshing, uplifting, grounding, peaceful and joyful…

You connect to yourself in such a wonderful way. The beautiful flowers, the colours. Sitting out and experiencing nature. Going for lovely long walks in the Tea gardens. The energy. Eating freshly grown fruits and vegetables. You connect to your inner self through nature, silence and experiencing. I often wonder why is it so difficult for me to do this when we are in the city or in a normal life routine. We cannot keep running away to experience ourselves.

I think it’s just what we begin to believe. I often feel that I must be out in nature to experience it all, but if I decide to experience it all from within I can experience it anywhere right? After all, all the joy we experience we truly can experience anywhere. In the mountains, by the beach, in your home, by yourself. It is truly our decision to decide what and where joy and happiness are.

So I am now going to try to start living everyday as I did the last few days, JOYFULLY .. experiencing, enjoying, living, alive, being..

Believing, visualising and living all that I want 🙂

Joy or Happiness…

Joy and happiness are often understood to be the same thing, but, in fact, they’re very different. Happiness is an emotion that is aroused in us when we buy a new car or get a promotion at work. It’s dependent on our circumstances occurring in accordance with our desires. Joy is an emotion that occurs within us when we develop an appreciation/thankfulness for the constants of life, such as nature, freedom, relationships with people, or through having faith in something larger than ourselves.by Vic Lebouthillier

Bhagvad Gita Cards

GITA Deck – Wisdom from the Bhagvad Gita

GITA Deck - Wisdom from the Bhagvad Gita

ETERNAL SOUL – Chapter 2, Verse 20

FOR THE SOUL there is neither birth nor death. The soul that is will never cease to be. It is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. It is not slain when the body is slain.

I found a lovely deck which I thought I would share with You’ll. The Gita deck. It has some wonderful cards, wisdom and learning for all of us.
I was just wondering what was happening and what the universe wanted me to know today and this is the card I got. The first one I pulled from this deck.
What a wonderful and profound message.

With Love and Gratitude to all
